The House

Our holiday home provides comfortable accommodation for up to six persons. It comes with three bedrooms and a shared bathroom consisting of a toilet and shower only.

There is a double bed, together with a built-in cupboard and full-length mirror in the main bedroom. A second bedroom, also sporting a built-in cupboard, contains two single beds. The third and smallest bedroom is furnished with a bunker bed and a low cupboard.

The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area is beautifully and stylishly furnished for a comfortable stay. Apart from the comfy seating in the lounge area, there is also a flat screen TV offering open view only. The dining area offers a table complemented by six chairs.

Being a self-catering house, the kitchen comes fully equipped with a stove and oven, gas stove for load shedding, fridge-freezer combo, kettle, toaster and microwave. Also the necessary cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and dishcloths as well as an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

Although we provide all bedding and bath towels, we kindly request that you bring your own towels for swimming.

Upon Arrival

Upon your arrival at Palinggat Oord, pull into the large parking area to collect the keys and remote at the Office. Using the remote to open the gate, proceed through the palisade gate, then immediately turn to the right and again to the right. Find the carport on your right-hand side behind the house you have just passed.

You have reached your destination.

Excellent Location

Not only is our holiday home next to the entrance gate, but also only a few steps from the Office, the laundrette and the two swimming pools.

Furthermore it is across the street from the OK Grocers, their bottle store, a takeaway restaurant and a clothing store. Less than a kilometre away is the Fynbos Centre comprising various shops, hairdressers, banks, a pharmacy restaurants and more.

Also within walking distance is the Community Hall, Municipal Offices, Library as well as the Police Station. Some 2 km away is the 9 hole golf course, and a little further the western beach and the Stilbaai harbour and yet another restaurant.

In Stilbaai nothing is really far away, but during the high season traffic is very slow because of the high influx of holiday makers. For this very reason it is extremely convenient to be near enough to walk to your destination.
